Domestic Violence Awareness Month
The Janelle Grum Family Crisis Center of East Texas is proud to invite local media and sponsors to the 3rd Annual Passion for Purple Luncheon Media Kick-Off, sponsored by Gibraltar Construction Company.
This special event will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2025, at 11:30 AM at the Lufkin Administration Office, located at 2401 Davisville Rd., Lufkin. Attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch while receiving exclusive event details, including the anticipated keynote speaker announcement.
The Passion for Purple Luncheon is the agency’s signature awareness and fundraising event in support of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The luncheon raises vital funds that allow the agency to continue offering life-saving services, including emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, and more throughout East Texas.
“We invite our community to stand with survivors and help us build momentum for this year’s Passion for Purple Luncheon,” said Melissa Wheeler, Development Director. “This Media Kick-Off is a great way to learn more, get involved, and show your support early.”
