Euna Marie Murray, age 82, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Euna Marie (Ables) Murray passed from this life on October 30, 2023. She was born March 27, 1941 in Goodman, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Yather Palmer Ables and Mary Etta (Cain) Ables and attained the age of 82 years, 7 months and 3 days.

She was united in marriage with Hubert Murray on June 26, 1960 in Chicago, Ill, but moved on to live in Denver and Publeo, CO, as well as Chadron, NE., prior to moving to Nacogdoches, TX. Hubert and Euna moved to Nacogdoches in 1969 and have been residents of this county for 54 years. The majority of those years they owned and operated the Auto Clinic, serving the community together. Ms. Euna also did upholstery for a number of years as well as being a homemaker for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hubert; daughters, Mary Christine (Christy) Rieg and husband Charles Clayton (Clay) Rieg of Nacogdoches and Cynthia Carol Raybon and husband Richard Dudley Raybon of Granbury; grandchildren, William Ferguson and wife Alyce of Nacogdoches, Bri-Anna Rawson and husband Joseph of Martsville, Kaylah Talamantes and husband Balta of Martinsville, Victoria Pettijohn and husband Mitchell of Vicenza, Italy at Fort Ederly, and Eric-Johnathan and wife Chelsey of Jacksonville, FL. Great grandchildren are Reminton Morrow, Dowden Talamantes, Caleb Talamantes, Ryleigh Ferguson, Addison Ferguson, Whittney Rawson, Konner Pettijohn, Elijah Pettijohn, and Magnus Pettijohn. She is also survived by one brother, Elmo (Bo) Ables of Trenton, TN and one sister, Doris Jobe of Lesterville, MI.

She was preceded in death by her father, Yather Palmer Ables and mother, Mary Etta (Cain) Able and one brother, Earl Ables.

Mrs. Murray’s wishes were to be cremated with no official service. The family will celebrate her life with their family gatherings and savoring their precious memories. No flowers are requested.
