Diana Joy (Box) Clark Obituary – Provided by Laird Funeral Home

AUGUST 31, 1949 – JULY 16, 2026

In the Care of Laird Funeral Home

Diana Clark, 76, of Nacogdoches, TX, was called to her heavenly home July 16th, 2026

Diana had a passion for helping and taking care of others. So much so that she decided to settle on a career doing just that starting in 1979, working at Memorial Hospital. She worked several positions over the years from a nurses aide up through working in the dialysis department before finally retiring.

Above all Diana will be remembered for her love for God and her family, most of all her grandchildren. She always liked being surrounded by animals and enjoyed gardening, particularly beautiful flowers and other plants.  She took pleasure in reading and doing all types of puzzles to relax during her spare time.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, L.E. Box and Joyce Box, her brother Nathan Box, and husband Charles Clark.

She is survived by her children Cassandra Hammersley and husband TJ, Billy Cooper and wife Cindy, and Angie Jones and husband Josh; her brother John Box and wife Marie; her 5 grandchildren Dannielle, Cheyenne, Madison, Bryce, and Faith; 4 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews, 1 neice, and many great nephews and neices.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 18th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Gravel Ridge Missionary Baptist Church on FM 225 in Nacogdoches.
