Obituary
Graveside service for Debbie Lee Rowell, 61, of Woden, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Simpson Campground Cemetery. Ms. Rowell passed away on February 28, 2023, in Woden. She was born March 2, 1961, in Houston.
Debbie was born in Houston and raised as a “city girl” but when she was introduced to country living, she knew she was where she belonged. As a true country girl at heart, she enjoyed being outside and if that also included getting muddy, then she was happy with it. Debbie had a green thumb and surrounding herself with plants was a great passion she possessed. She was also a big fan of grilling outside with Jim. However, with all the things around her that made her happy, her family was ultimately her main reason for being. She treasured the wonderful times spent with her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She felt extremely blessed when surrounded by her family, Jim’s family and their friends. She will always be remembered as the kind and loving woman who bestowed her compassion and nurturing ways to all those around her.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 10 years, Jim Rowell of Woden; daughter, Jenna LaCombe & husband, Chris of Hallsville; son, David Lollar of Bossier City; step-children, Kate Rowell of Cushing and Jessie Guadarrama & husband, Chris of Cushing and grandchildren, Evan Lollar, Alleigh Lollar, Gavin Lollar and Rowan Guadarrama. She is also survived by her dear friend, Tammy Jackson who has remained by her side throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving and dedicated grandmother, Elsie Ward, who raised her as her own daughter.
