Obituary
Danny Reneau, 62, of Garrison, TX, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, in Nacogdoches, TX.
Visitation for Danny will be Monday, September 19, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 at Garrison Funeral Home. Graveside will be Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Cold Springs Cemetery in Garrison at 10:00 am with Brother John McGuire officiating.
Danny, or “Papa Dan” grew up in the Nacogdoches and Garrison area and graduated from Garrison High School. His passion was playing football in high school. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, Nascar, and watching NFL and MLB on T.V. Danny was involved with Bethel Baptist church of Nacogdoches. Danny was the owner of Reneau and Sons roofing for many years.
He is survived by his daughters, Calin Morris and husband Thomas, Taylor Gutierrez and husband Fernando; sister, Terrie McClelland and husband Jeff; brother, William Reneau; grandchildren, Brayden Mobley, Grayson Mobley, Kinsley Wright, Mia Gutierrez; niece, Heather Reneau-Hess; nephew William Reneau.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robby and Billie Reneau; daughter, Candice Anthony; granddaughter, Landry Morris; grandson, Carson Morris; and Niece, Casey Reneau.
