Cole Hill earns a spot on the 2023 Northwoods League Great Plains All-Star Team

Cole Hill has kept busy this summer, earning a spot on the 2023 Northwoods League Great Plains All-Star team. 

Currently having an amazing offensive summer season, Hill has made his mark on the League with the Waterloo Bucks. He currently has a .327 Batting Average (15th in the league), 49 Hits (t-13th), 15 Doubles (2nd), and 32 RBIs (24th). Hill has made Head Coach Johnny Cardenas extremely proud of his effort this summer.  

“When you send your players out during the summer, you expect them to represent SFA to the fullest extent. Cole has exceeded those expectations” Cardenas states. “We are extremely proud of him for making the Northwest League All-Star Team.”   

Cole’s 2023 SFA Season 
Cole headed into the summer as a pivotal piece of the Lumberjacks season. Finishing with a .319 average (4th on the roster), 51 Hits (4th) in 160 At Bats, and 35 RBIs (4th). His highest contributing game of the year was against UT-Arlington, where he had a season high 4 RBIs and 4 Hits.

Great Lakes Division All-Star Game Info
The Great Lakes Division All-Star Game will be hosted by the Traverse City Pit Spitters at Turtle Creek Stadium in Traverse City, Michigan. The game will air on ESPNU on July 25th at 6:05 PM CT. Tickets for the game can be purchased here.
