Obituary
Betty Jean Claringbole, age 91, of Etoile passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her home. She was born September 3, 1931, in Chireno to parents David Edward Husband and Nora Rachel (Murray) Husband. She worked for Digital Electronics and later as a caretaker. She loved attending church as a member of Apostolic Life Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and many other relatives and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Shepherd; son, Rufus King; grandsons, Jeremiah Causer, Christian King, and Jesse Jones; granddaughter, Jaime Laurence; great-granddaughter, Cora Jones; great-grandson, Jasper Oros; and brothers, McNeil Husband and W.D. Husband.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors in Nacogdoches followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Carlos Martinez.
Betty will be laid to rest in Blackjack Cemetery in Nacogdoches County. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeremiah Causer, Rufus King, McNeil Husband, and W.D. Husband.
