Amanda Vick Obituary

Amanda Charissa Vick of Nacogdoches passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 45. She was surrounded by her three children, her siblings, and her mother.
Born in Nacogdoches, Texas on August 18, 1979, to Lynette Williams & Allen Vick. Amanda was joined by her twin sister, Alana Vick. Amanda grew up in the community of Nacogdoches & attended Nacogdoches I.S.D where she enjoyed volleyball and hanging out with friends.
Amanda was a proud East Texan who lived life on her own terms. She built a strong and respected career in the oil and gas industry — a space traditionally dominated by men. Amanda never let that stop her. She earned her place through hard work, determination, and a blue-collar spirit that pushed boundaries and defied expectations. She took on the kind of work others might shy away from and did it with pride and excellence.
Amanda is survived by her children, Brianna Decker, Ja’Cee Woodard, and Jace Woodard; her granddaughter, Allie Decker; her mother, Lynette Williams; her stepfather, Randy Bass; her twin sister, Alana Vick; and her brother, Josh Bass. She also leaves behind her nieces, Wesley Bass and Jolie Bass.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Robert and Floice Williams, beside whom she will be laid to rest.
Amanda loved to travel, enjoy a glass of Pendleton whiskey, and spend quality time with her family. She was known for her bold sense of humor, her love of social media mischief, and the kind of honesty that could both challenge and uplift those around her. She had a sharp wit, a fearless spirit, and a heart that fiercely loved those closest to her.
Amanda will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, and the unforgettable mark she left on everyone who had the privilege to know her.
