Ada Lee Smithhart was born August 14th, 1938 to the late Archie and Sallie Bell Goodman in Alto, Texas and died August 30th, 2026, in Nacogdoches, Texas at the age of 88.
Ada spent her entire adult life raising her four children and having the enjoyment of watching them grow up. She lived for her family whether it was her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, or great-great-grandkids. She loved them all, and they were her whole world and her biggest pride and joy.
Ada loved the Lord and would be caught on numerous occasions, talking and praying to Him.
She is survived by her son, Randy and Kelly Smithhart, daughter Kim McClelland, son-in-law Donnie Puckett, grandchildren Madyson and Will Langston, Alexis Smithhart, Payden Smithhart, Kaden Smithhart, Breanna and David Milliken, Kilye and Corey Butler, Tristan McClelland, Mandy and Jeff Cordova, Winter and Rusty Skinner, Sherry Smithhart, James Lee Smithhart, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters Nell Adams, Ruth and Herman Watson, brother Jerry and Lois Goodman, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, James G. Smithhart, JR., daughter, Wanda Puckett, son Howard Smithhart, father and mother Archie and Sallie Goodman, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James G. and Maddie Smithhart, great-grandson Colton Cupps, sister Lou Reynolds and brothers, Hubert Goodman, Roy Goodman, and Jack Goodman.
