On September 2, 2026, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily restricted, with notice, the Texas medical license of Michael Patrick Gallagher, M.D. (Lic. No. N1322). The restriction was effective immediately.
The Board panel found that Dr. Gallagher was arrested for criminally negligent homicide related to the death of one patient. Dr. Gallagher’s license is restricted under the following terms: practice is restricted to anesthesiology and shall not supervise or delegate any medical acts to anyone under any circumstances.
The temporary restriction remains in place until the Board takes further action.
