A memorial visitation for Leah Renee (French) Sepulvado, 47, of Garrison, will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10th, 2026, at Laird Funeral Home. Leah passed away on August 6th, 2026, in Nacogdoches, TX. She was born on July 11th, 1979, in Charlevoix, Michigan to Clarence Victor French, Esq. and Kathaleen Rose Rossiter.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Leah Renee (French) Sepulvado, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, who passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2026. She was born in Charlevoix, Michigan on July 11th, 1979 to Kathaleen and Clarence French. Leah built her life on a foundation of community, family, and service.
She grew up with her mother and two younger sisters on the west coast of the United States, where she fell in love with the Banana Slugs and Redwoods of California, eventually graduating from Tigard High School in Tigard, Oregon.
She was married to the love of her life, Carl Eugene Sepulvado, on October 28th, 2005. A marriage that allowed the two to build a fruitful life throughout the twenty years of marriage they had together. She also mothered three children, Christian Victor-James Metelak, Cayden Leigh-Orion Metelak, and Connor Charles-Eugene Sepulvado, which she dedicated her experience to teaching and nurturing.
Later in life, she graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which she utilized for nearly a decade dedicating herself to the children of our surrounding communities.
All would remember Leah as a pillar of any community she took part in, whether it be family, work, or otherwise. She was witty and quick with a joke. A bright and eager smile that blessed all who stood witness. She also loved music, was a collector of oddities, and was always an aspiring gardener no matter how many attempts it took. She leaves behind her husband, children, parents, and a wide circle of friends and family. Her legacy of laughter, kindness, and connection will continue through the lives of those she’s left behind and all who loved her.
