We’re preparing for a busy fall event season! Thursdays in the Garden continues at the Durst-Taylor House every other Thursday at 10 a.m., with crafts and lessons for children ages 2 to 10. This Wednesday, October 14, Homeschool Hop invites homeschool families to explore local sites through a collaboration between Nacogdoches and Lufkin museums.
The featured event this month is History After Dark on Thursday, October 29, where historian Dr. Scott Sosebee will lead a guided tour through downtown Nacogdoches, sharing stories best told after dark.
Be sure to check below and save the dates for our upcoming November and December events, too!
Along with these wonderful community events, our staff are hard at work preserving our four historic structures, guiding visitors each day, managing collections, and advancing special projects, including planning the permanent exhibit at Zion Hill Baptist Church Historic Site.
For questions about these events or any of our work, please contact us at historicsites@nactx.us or 936-560-4441.
