“There’s plenty happening around Nacogdoches this week! From live music and local food to art, downtown activities, and Lumberjack football, make plans to get out and enjoy everything happening around town.
This Thursday, head to Madhatter Distillery for Open Mic beginning at 6:30 p.m. Whether you’re ready to take the stage or simply enjoy the performances, it’s a great way to spend your evening. You can also catch The Fabulous Thunderbirds live at SFA’s Turner Auditorium beginning at 7:30 p.m. for an evening of legendary blues and rock.
Friday brings Nac Snack on the Downtown Square from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Stop by for delicious food from local food trucks while you shop and explore downtown. Later that evening, join SFA Parents for Bingo at Fredonia Brewery beginning at 6 pm for a fun night of friendly competition.
Saturday morning, SFA Buses to Downtown Nac returns from 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., inviting SFA students and their families to explore downtown Nacogdoches. While you’re downtown, stop by Art Fest at Banita Creek Park from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. to enjoy local art and creative activities. Then, wrap up the day with SFA Football as the Lumberjacks take on Northeastern State at Homer Bryce Stadium beginning at 7 p.m.
