Jimmy Don Murdock, 76, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2026. He was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, to James (Jim) Murdock and Opal Langford Murdock. Jimmy graduated from Chireno High School.
Jimmy was blessed with 57 years of marriage to his loving wife, Rita Murdock. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought love and joy to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Murdock; daughter, Tina Krenek; son, James Murdock and wife Kacy; and grandchildren, Kyle Krenek, Finley Murdock, and Carter Murdock.
He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie Murdock and wife, Sheila; sisters, Billie Stubblefield, Inez Stubblefield and husband, George, and Judy Poe and husband, Larry; sister-in-law, Brenda Bass and husband, Lockey; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Graveside Service will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Martinsville on Sunday, September 20th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
