“There’s plenty happening around Nacogdoches this week! From local art and community events to a weekend filled with live music and downtown festivities, there’s plenty of reason to get out and explore.
Make plans on Friday evening to experience Cruzando Caminos: a live performance by five artists in the historic Zion Hill Baptist Church museum with music, storytelling, and poetry sung aloud. The event opens with a reception at 5:00 p.m., an artist talk at 5:45 p.m., and ends with the concert at 7:00 p.m. The event is free but reservations are required to secure a spot.
This Friday and Saturday, Old Town Rig Down returns to the heart of Downtown Nacogdoches! Check out impressive trucks lining the brick streets before heading to Festival Park Saturday evening for live music. The concert begins with the opening act at 6:05 p.m., followed by country music favorite Tracy Lawrence.
Saturday afternoon, head to The Village Nac for their first-ever Taste & Tour beginning at 3:00 p.m. Enjoy tasting stations, live music from The Purple Hulls, an auction, and more during this new community event.
As always, feel free to send this to any friends, family, guests, or visitors! Full list of events available at visitnacogdoches.org/events“
