Texas Medical Board – TMB Revokes Stephenville Physician’s License

On September 4th, 2026, the Texas Medical Board revoked, by operation of law, the Texas medical license of William Rockwell Evans, M.D. (Lic. No. J4103). The revocation was effective immediately.

The Board found that Dr. Evans engaged in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a patient and, on or about December 17th, 2023, prescribed an abortive to that patient, in violation of Health and Safety Code Section 170A.002(a). Pursuant to Texas Health and Safety Code, Section 170A.007, a license holder’s license shall be revoked if the license holder performs, induces, or attempts an abortion in violation of 170A.002.
