The Lamp-Lite Players announce their GALA for the 54th Season on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, 6:00 p.m., at Lamp-Lite Theatre, 4210 Lamp-Lite Lane, Nacogdoches, TX 75964. The GALA is free, and the entire EAST TEXAS community is invited to the 54th Reception, Membership Meeting, and EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT.
The evening will begin with a reception at 6:00 p.m., during which time guests may peruse the productions being presented for 2026-2027 and purchase their season passes. The passes are the ORIGINAL Flex Ticket and may be utilized for any production however the patron wishes to use them. Beginning with the 2026-27 season, all season passes will be sold online only. The Lamp-Lite Box Office will have volunteers at the GALA to assist patrons with ordering their season passes.
At 6:45 p.m., Lamp-Lite Board President Ken Untiedt will conduct a short ANNUAL Membership Meeting to elect two new members to the board, hear reports of improvements at Lamp-Lite Theatre, introduce current board members, introduce the 2026-2027 season and directors, and recognize retiring board member Judy Moore, who has served as House Manager for several years. Season pass holders are invited to participate in the election of board members. Entertainment will be directed by Lamp-Lite Vice-President Davy Thomas.
Productions for the 2026-2027 Season include The Odd Couple, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Harvey, Greater Tuna, and The Fiddler on the Roof.
