Mrs. Judith Delene Williamson, affectionately known as Judy, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, in Nacogdoches, Texas, at the remarkable age of 102.
Judy was born on April 29, 1924, in Cushing, Texas, to J. Neal Satterwhite and Annie Ruth (Sitton) Satterwhite. She graduated from Cushing High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Baylor University on May 29, 1945. Throughout her life, Judy exemplified compassion, dedication, and grace, qualities that served her well both in her nursing career and in her relationships with family and friends.
A longtime member of The Heritage Club, Judy enjoyed an active and fulfilling life. She especially loved playing bridge with her many friends, tending to her beautiful flower beds, collecting antiques, and spending time shopping at the Townhouse. Her warm spirit, generous heart, and love of fellowship brought joy to all who knew her.
She is preceded by her husband Dr. Tom P. Williamson, Sr and parents J. Neal Satterwhite and Annie Ruth (Sitton) Satterwhite.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Williamson and wife, Pam Williamson; her granddaughter, Shelby Wade and husband, Daniel Parris; her great-granddaughter, Harlow Parris and sister Jo Ann Denny.
Judy also leaves behind cherished friends who were a special part of her life, including Brenda Stephens, Nancy Tipton, and Bessie Dixon.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Richard Baker, Harbor Hospice of Lufkin, Meadowview Place of Nacogdoches, and The Arbor Assisted Living of Nacogdoches for the compassionate care and support they provided.
Judy lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, friendship, and service to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
