NACOGDOCHES, TX — The Nacogdoches Niners are proud to announce the release of the 2026 Mid America League schedule, with Opening Night set for May 26 at Jaycees Field. The upcoming season promises to be an exciting summer of baseball and community entertainment in East Texas.
Opening Night will launch a full slate of home games bringing the community together through affordable fun, exciting promotions, and the unique atmosphere that only summer baseball can provide. From youth teams celebrating their seasons to families looking for an affordable night out, the Niners focus on building experiences the entire community can enjoy!
Field Manager Nikaylen Morrison has already put together a mixed collegiate and professional roster of 20+. “We want to be able to bring a great baseball environment to the city of Nacogdoches. You will see an energetic bunch of individuals who care about one another and care about playing competitive baseball.”
The 2026 schedule includes a variety of weekend games and special event nights that give fans the chance to experience baseball in a fun and engaging environment. Matchups against regional rivals including the Piney Woods TimberHogs, Bryan Yard Dogs, and Beaumont Oil Dragons will create exciting competition and memorable moments throughout the season.
Group outings will be a centerpiece of the Niners’ experience, offering local businesses, youth sports teams, churches, and community organizations the opportunity to enjoy a night out together. Fundraising partnerships will allow local groups to support their missions while enjoying the excitement of live baseball.
