NACOGDOCHES, TX – Head football coach Colby Carthel, who begins his 7th season with the Lumberjacks, returns to the practice fields on Monday, March 24 with the first of 14 spring practices leading up to annual Graylan Spring Game at Homer Bryce Stadium. The game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m.
During the five-week practice period, the Lumberjacks will participate in 14 spring practice sessions. The ‘Jacks first week of spring practice will begin Monday, March 24 followed by a Wednesday and Friday practice. The following two weeks the ‘Jacks will practice each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday beginning at 8 a.m. on the fields located behind the Fieldhouse. Easter week practices will be held Sunday, April 13, Tuesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 17 with the final two practices taking place Monday, April 2, and Wednesday, April 23.
The Lumberjacks open their 2025 season on the road when they travel to the University of Houston to face the Cougars on Thursday, August 28 at TDECU Stadium. Game time will be announced at a later date.
