Graveside services with military honors are pending for Clifton B. Hughes, 97, of Rusk, at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.. Mr. Hughes passed away August 2, 2023 at his home in Rusk. Clifton was born May 1, 1926 in Angleton, Texas to Robert Hughes and Clara Milligan. He had workes as a merchant seaman for many years. A complete obit will be posted later.
