The city council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday April 18th in the council chambers on the square in downtown Nacogdoches. The replacement of water meters is the first item on the regular agenda, followed by a public hearing related to craft distilleries, a contract for utility work and repairs in the city and a contract for electric upgrades in Festival Park. There are a number of proposed ordinances related to craft distilleries, and those begin on page 13 of the agenda packet below.
The council will discuss in executive session new business prospects, properties struck off the tax roles, and the annual evaluation and consideration of the extension of the City Attorney’s contract.
The presentation of the meeting has changed on the city’s website, so that the agenda is found at one link and the supporting packet on another. The supporting packet is one entire pdf file provided in agenda order.
